Problems printing and previewing Crystal Reports with parameters

It is actually Crystal Reports XI R2 .net 3.0 Runtime SP5. I left out the Runtime in my answer previously. This is the version on all the 64 bit machines, but I have the Crystal Reports XI R2 .Net 1.1 Runtime (03_05_2008) on other workstations.

Â
We are running Vista 8.03.408A and I am having problems with 64 bit workstations (2 XP, 1 Windows 7) being able to print or preview a Crystal report that has parameters.Â
Â
If I try to print, the error is:Â
Â
Crystal Report Windows Forms Viewer
ActiveX control '8856f961-340a-11d0-a96b-00c04d705a2' cannot be instantiated because the current thread is not in a single-threaded apartment.Â
Â
If I try to preview, the error is:
Â
Crystal Report Windows Forms Viewer
List of Values failure: fail to get values. [Cause of error: Failed to open the connection.Â
Failed to open the connection.
UNKNOWN.RPT]
Â
The report prints and previews fine on XP and Windows 7 32 bit workstations.
Â
Am I missing something in the installation process or is there something else causing this problem? Can anyone provide a detailed install proceedure for 8.03.408 on 64 bit workstations?
Â
Thank you!

Do you also have the Crystal Reports XI R2 .net 3.0 RUNTIME SP5 installed? That is what Vantage uses.

Hi,

Just wondering if the parameters are for dates.
I had issues once with the calendars that pop up... if I remember, it was related to Internet Explorer.

Yes, sorry I left out the RUNTIME, but that is in fact what I have installed not the full Developer.
