we use Standard Cost Method
Our BOMs bring in purchased parts and manufactured parts.
We periodically roll-up cost. (Advanced BOM > General Operations > Cost Set Entry)
There are some parts which roll-up both material and labor correctly.
Meaning some parts have reasonable cost in Standard-material & Standard-labor.
Other parts are Zero in these fields.
Some parts have zero in standard-labor.
Some parts have zero in standard-labor & standard-material.
We have parts which are identical in labor, operations, purchased parts.
They have one difference in the manufactured parts they call in.
We have carefully checked the revision for that part.
Still one parent part rolls-up fine, the other has no cost when the roll-up is completed.
We have checked:
1) ...if assemblies and sub-assemblies have approved revision
2) ...the dates are correct for these revisions.
3) ...that all parts are marked at Standard costing
4) ...the entire check list from Tech-support
We sent our database to Tech Support with no resolution so far.
All suggestions are appreciated.
