Something like this happened to me a while back.
In my case it was a test server & I must have performed one too many install/uninstalls
This answerbook from Epicor cleared it up....
- 15703MPS Installing the 64-bit 9.05.702a patch fails to find OpenEdge install.....
PROBLEM:
I am attempting to install the 64-bit version of the 9.05.702a patch and when it performs the Application Requirements it fails to locate the OpenEdge release of 10.2A0329. It says it OpenEdge Release 10.2A0329 Not Installed. It also seems to think that the Windows OS is 32-bit when in fact it is 64-bit.
SOLUTION:
Verify that you have installed the 64-bit version of OpenEdge 10.2A. You confirm this by checking Start > Programs > OpenEdge 10.2A > Config. In the list of install Progress OpenEdge licenses you will see a Port Number associated with it. If the Port Number value is 33, then this is 64-bit.
Once the install of the 64-bit version of OpenEdge 10.2A has been confirm, then you will want to check to see if the proper registry entries are present.
Go to Start > Run > regedit.
You should find a HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Epicor Software\Epicor 9.05.7xx node. One of the string values will be Bit and its data value should be 64. If this key is not present at all, then something must have failed during the install of the 9.05.702 service pack. You will need to install that service pack first and try the patch again after that.
In some cases customers have found two Epicor 9.05.7xx nodes. The second one located the Wow6432Node. If there is one present here, then at some point a 32-bit version of Epicor was installed. Because the installer for all 9.05.7xx service packs and patched contain both the 32-bit and 64-bit versions, it scans the registry for these entries to determine which is should install. If the 32-bit is not desired, then you should rename the Epicor 9.05.7xx node that is under the Wow6432Node and then try the patch install again.
