Since migrating to 5.20 (and Progress 9.1D) we have had a lot of problems printing to our HP LaserJet 8000 printer. I've previously inquired about issues related to printing edit lists (freezes PC) and have determined that this is exclusive to the HP 8000. I've tried a number of different HP drivers with no effect. Since moving service for the printer to a Win2K server recently the problems have become worse but at least we get error messages now (illegal operation). The server is using the HP 8000 driver whereas the users are using various old HP drivers (HP IIP mostly). Epicor Support says the problems are related to the drivers that Progress assumes will be used. Does anyone know what HP drivers Progress prefers (in 9.1D)?
