That'd be in the \VntgWork directory, BTW. Should be something like
RPTxxxx.TXT The text import wizard in Excel does a nice job with them.

is there anyway to print a report out of vantage into a text file? one of
our financial people would like to manipulate data from the G/L Report in
the financial management module in excel. alternatively, would anyone be
willing to share a report builder report that could export this info?

Print preview the report, don't close the window, switch to an explorer
window, browse by data modified descending, and a text file will show at the
top.

Alternatively you could use a print driver which prints to a text file.
I've had limited success using the microsoft text printer driver, but there
may be other better ones out there.

Generate the report, then save it as an excel file.
