On 4.0 which table contains the primary bin... partwhse primary bin field
says obsolete... I am trying to do a report in Crystal which will be the
pick list (incorporating several jobs that are run together) and the
inventory people want to see the default bin number when there is no
quantity on hand. I looked in the part table and I can't see it there.

Also, after going to 4.0 our WIP report is correct on labor, burden and
subcontract but it seems to be picking up incorrect amounts on material.
Some jobs seem to have duplicated and others have not. The production
detail and the job tracker are ok. Anybody else have this and what did you
do?

Are you issueing material before or after you ship MTO jobs? Are you using Average or Standard costing? Are you manually receiving MTS jobs to stock, or auto-receiving?

These may all make an impact on your material costs.

PartBin

"Contains the Onhand quantity for a specfic part in a specific bin location
within a warehouse. It is a subset to the PartWhse table.
These records are created or updated via Part maintenance, Receipt
processing, Warehouse transfers or by physical inventories. When the OnHand
quantity becomes zero the PartBin record is deleted. There should never be
any records that exist with a zero quantity onhand. These records are also
updated by inventory issue processing and shipment processing."

Primary warehouse is on the part master under the tab for Inv/Pur at the bottom ... I don't know if there is one for primary bin

Primary Warehouse is in PartPlant. From there, the PlantWhse has the Pri
bin for that Warehouse.

My information may only be good for 6.0...

But I have found the information you were looking for in a quick Crystal
Report. Linked the PartPlant to the PlantWhse using Company, Part,
Plant and then linking PrimWhse to WarehouseCode.

In Ver. 6.0 this will give you what you are looking for. Before that, I
can't be of much help, but maybe this will lead you in a direction.

I am looking for the table that holds the primary bin location for each
part. We have multiple plants and multiple warehouses. Any suggestions
