Primary Bin during receiving

Hi all, I have a question regarding to primary bin.

A part is assigned to a primary bin and the field for ''Last viewed warehouse/bin" is selected, the primary bin number shall be displayed automatically during the receiving process. But in my case, it still showing the old bin number. How to make sure that the primary bin appear, as the main receiving bin ?

I believe the ‘Use Last Warehouse/BIN’ checkbox overrides the default WH/BIN and instead populates the last WH/BIN the part was received into. If you want the default, try setting that to false.

Where is this last viewed warehouse/bin check box located? I’m having a similar situation where I updated the primary bin, but all the incoming material is going to the old location.

I believe you will find it in Company Configuration - Materials - Shipping Receiving under Receipt Options.
