Price List - Part Without Discount

We are currently in test phase for 10.2.400, migrating from Epicor 9.

In Epicor 9 we are able to put net price for a part. Our customer have a base discount (Customer Maintenance), on the base price for parts (Part Sales Unit Price).
Then for some parts, we simply put the PriceList (With Base Unit Price set for parts) into the “Discount Price List” in the Customer (or Customer Group) and the price that is pull has no discount applied to the quote line.

We tried that method in Epicor 10 without success. How can we have some parts with net price (no discount) even if the customer has a base discount.

Thanks for your help!

Kind of a hack, but you could set the customers price to inflated, so that the after the discount is applied, its back to the standard price. Don’t fall for the trap that to give a 25% discount, you just raise the price by 25%. Youd actually have to raise it by 33%.

The better solution would be to remove the customer based discount, and create a price list, and only include the parts that would get a discount.

Sorry for the delay, back from vacation
Thanks for the reply,
That is what came to our mind after initial tests… but we wanted to see if there was a way of doing it the way it was in Epicor 9 so we don’t have to rework all our price lists :frowning:

Hi Frederic,
One other way I can think of would be to use multiple price lists. This would not help you in regards to “not have to rework price lists” conundrum, however. Here in our price list procedure, we have details on using multiple price lists on customers sometimes:
