Seems like all we can do is create a BPM. Can anyone confirm there is no easy fix like a checkbox in part class?

I am looking for an error message to prevent over shipment to a customer.

We ship everything from stock. Can anyone lead me in the right direction? Is there a button to click or do we need a BPM?

Epicor 905.606.AÂ Â Â Along the same lines of having a flag prevent from overshipping is there a flag to tell when shift reporting, not enough quantity on hand to cover the qty to shift report?Â

I thought there was a Part Class setting that can be set to warn or
error out if you attempt to drive stock negative......

There is, but if you have available stock and double ship, then it doesn't stop or warn.

Another thing to keep in mind is there may be two aspects you want to control, prevention of over shipment against existing inventory, AND over shipment against a sales order/line/release. This would require two separate BPM's...
