Prevent MRP from making suggestions

In job entry, click on "lock quantity" and also on "lock schedule".

This will prevent suggestions from occurring.

Our Manufacturing manager has a question for the group:

Is there a way to prevent MRP from making suggestions (like date or qty
change) to jobs that you have already firmed and released? I would like
it to just generate a whole new job instead trying to change the one
already released.
