Power BI

Hello,

I have a user that has connected Epicor to Power BI… However, when it lists all the BAQs it lists all of them. How do we differentiate between ones that will show up and ones that wont? Otherwise we would have to manually try all of them and see if they work. Some say they can’t be shown.

Thank you

I like to use security on the BAQs and allow the user account for BI to only access those queries. It’s also easy to see which queries are use by BI

Hello, thank you for replying.

How do I set up security for a BAQ?

If you are familiar with menu maintenance, create a new security id called BAQ1 or something similar, edit security to disallow access to the PowerBI user account.
On the BAQs you do not want the PowerBI account to access, add the Security ID you created. It’s a little tedious, but it works. The power BI account will not be able to see or use those BAQS in any way, including reports and dashboards.

Maybe there is a more elegant way.
