Poll results for vantage

Heck, if we are going to have some fun ...

Let's let any and all ----prospective---- Vantage customers in. Let them
ask any pre-sales evaluation questions they want.

Now THAT would be entertaining!!!

Oh yeah, we're not supposed to do that ...

What the heck - let the Vista customers in ... what's the worst thing that
could happen? Besides we're all going to be sharing the same relational
database soon anyway. It is rational, I mean relational, isn't it?

I think this is a clear mandate giving me political capital to spend. While
it wasn't a Huge response 54% of those voting were in favor of letting Vista
users in. While I don't think a formal invitation is in order.

Any Vista 6 member that submits a request to join and gives an Epicor site
ID I will approve their membership to the Vantage Group.

As far as Vista Classic goes though, I'm mobilizing the troops and calling
up the reserves for the invasion force.

35 votes / 1097 members = 3.2% voter turnout !!!

It's clear that most of our members reside in the U.S., right? Gee,
Shirley, maybe you should have done something to generate a little more
interest, like broadcasting some vicious rhetoric about Vista users...

Scott

I find these polls extremely easy and very helpful information. I would be
interested in a similar one on the product configurator.

There's nothing to say they can't be in both groups right? Like I'm in the CorVu group as well as the Vantage group.

Quote: "While I don't think a formal invitation is in order"

....This is what I was thinking before not "voting"....like changing the poll phrasing to "allow" rather than "invite". Removing the Vista 6 people from the Vista group would be as detrimental to the Vista Classic users as removing the Vantage 8 people from this group would be to the Vantage 6.x (and prior) members. We all need "up ladder" experience.

I guess I'd favor "dual citizenship" for any Vista users interested enough in Vantage topics to want to join this group. Perhaps issue green cards or H1B visas. ;)
