PO Suggestions/ Buyer WorkBench

Ok, I am dealing with difficult buyers and I said i would check on this. If a PO shows late on the buyers workbench it is looking at the Due Date correct? From what I can see it is only the POs with a past date that show on the Buyers Workbench.

Thanks Kim

It looks at the promise date of the release but if there is no promise date
it looks at the Due date

ok thanks

Positive it is looking at the promise date? When I looked after we chatted last time and it made sense.

Yes Promise date and if no Promise Date then Due Date

Change one of your late PO’s and make the promise date > today and you will
see it drop off from the Late tab next time you open up PO Suggestions

Mark,

I know this is an old post but I ran across this again and had forgotten about this.

If the POs overdue is looking at the Promise Date and not the Due date if a Vendor makes a date change they should really be changing the Promise date not the Due Date? Or should we change both for the best results wtih MRP. I know if we change the Due date it will change the Supplier on time metrics but we are not using that right now.

What is your best practice suggestion?

thanks kim
