PO Suggestion Search to eliminate orders on hold or a BPM

i am trying to find a way to eliminate sales orders on hold in the PO suggestion search window. This pertains to drop ship sales orders and the order is on hold. i dont want to select them to “buy”.

This field is not on the Grid in personalize.

I thought of doing a BAQ seach or a BPM to write OrderHed.OrderHeld to the Character01 field in SugPoDtl .

im new to BPMs though.

Any thoughts?

Craig,

If you go to the order line release screen, there is a Firm Release checkbox.

If you uncheck this you should not see job or PO suggestions.

It is buried down at the Order Release level though, so you may want to build a BPM to unflag these for the whole order.

is it possible to set it up so new sales orders come in as not firm and i run a bpm to make them firm?

or would this be a BPM too?

That would also be a BPM, so you’d need a BPM that sets all new order releases to unfirm, and then another BPM that fires when you take the order off hold that sets all the releases on that order to firm.

How would you know what SO/line/release is linked to the PO Suggestion (sugNum in the sugPODtl)?
