Why are the PO approved if they are created from a suggestion? Kinda makes for a rough time. Our guy uses the suggestions to create the PO but still needs approval for them, but Epicor just approves them automatically.Is this a BPM to fix or is there another way?
When Generate Suggestions is run from PO Suggestions, the PO is approved IF it is within the Buyer’s authorization limit. If not, and it needs additional approvals, it stays as Pending until approved. From the Purchase Management course document:
The purchase orders generated by New PO Suggestions are Approved if the Buyer has not exceeded their
PO Limit. If that limit is exceeded, the purchase orders remain in Pending status until the approval process
is complete.
