That was more intended for capitol equipment that you would typically depreciate.. As far as I know, you can do some gage tracking and calibration within some modules, but not check in and check out. Systems like that exist out there, look into AutoCrib and CribMaster for functionality like that.

We are going to be storing all of our manufacturing orders digitally soon.
Someone suggested looking into a PDM system, which I replied we already own
a plm system which also has a pdm/vault. Since that discussion I've heard
it is a very bad idea to include any of my ERP documents in the PLM system,
they call it cross pollination.
I'm wondering if anyone else is doing something like this and/or if anyone
else thinks this is a good/bad idea?
