Have you already looked in the MRP Tech Ref Guide?
There should be link to a PDF version somewhere in your OnLine Help.
In general the “Assembly Options” determine how the job materials are viewed and how the system will expect to satisfy those demands.
e.g. pull from inventory or manufacture as a sub-assembly.

I did read through the tech reference guide but I was hoping that there was something available kind of a matrix that compares the two methods.
The only matrix I’ve seen from Epicor was titled “How the ‘Nonstock’ flag has an effect on Suggestions and Assy options when a part is pulled into a BOM”
This was for V8, before “Plan as Assembly” was added and as the title suggests… more focused on NonStock flag and Suggestions
It does include PullAsAsm/ViewAsAsm references and might be helpful… if still available from support (and/or revised for E9/E10)?
