Per Container Field on Part Master Missing in Kinetic

Does anyone know where the per container field on the part master is on the Kinetic screens?

This is on version 2022.2.12:

Here is what I am seeing as of the latest update by Epicor for cloud customers

I know they were working on re-arranging the screens to group the fields more logically. There is a scrollbar on the right, maybe you need to scroll down farther?

If you scroll it just takes you to the other cards below. It looks like they are missing fields. I don’t see unit price as another example

@timshuwy any tips for navigating the new layout?

A better question to ask would be “Where is my full screen button?” because it’s in there.

Side note, every post I see that involves fields missing is from users using the embedded browser in the client. Y’all need to move to the web. It’s way faster.

Yep sure is! Wonder if they know it is missing. I’ve checked 3 different companies who are on cloud and all of them are missing that button based on the last update

It’s interesting that all of the posts about fields missing are cloud related. I’m on prem with the latest release and do not have any of these issues.

@mjfwagner if you scroll down, do you see the full screen button at the bottom of the card? I am assuming that you are looking at this via the smart client.

We have missing fields on Quote Entry and PO Release… and the issue persists whether we use the desktop client or web browser.

Working with EpiCare, that was one thing they wanted me to do… reinstall my client. But my company primarily uses the browser UI, and the issue persists there.

Missing fields appear to only happen with forms on which we have customizations (which I can understand), but the odd part is that it is primarily Epicor’s BASE fields which are missing. I would understand that Epicor’s fields take priority and any conflict results in UD fields getting moved/deleted from the customized layer, needing to be rebuilt/relocated. But instead, I’m missing both base and UD fields.

Its like two boats colliding and they both sink into the ether.

I’m just not sure if I should be actively repairing my layers… or if Epicor is going to find/repair the bug and they’ll magically appear in the next update. But, the clocks ticking before they push this out to LIVE.

@timshuwy, based on their screenshot, it looks to be at the bottom of the first card already.
Full screen should be right here for that card (you can see the one for Revision below, though):

Well, that’s out as a theory.

You’re in the cloud, though, correct?
I still have yet to see another on-prem company weigh in here.

ouch… i missed that screenshot. OK>>> that is a BUG but if as described, it is only a bug when running from the smart client.
PLEASE turn this into Support, as it does need to be fixed.

Yes, we ARE a cloud customer. So, that portion of your theory survives

Maybe, Maybe not. My 2023.1 works correctly in the browser and smart client on this screen.

Intermittent issues?
Mine works. I’m out. :v:t2:

Client on the LEFT, Browser on the RIGHT… “Full Screen” is not an option on either.

@dcamlin out of curiosity… if you create a layer for that screen, click that card and go to Properties > Advanced, is “Enable Fullscreen” checked? Not saying that you should have to do this, but it should already be checked as base, so I’m curious to see what that value is since yours is not showing up.

Well… when I first open App Studio… it loads without a customized layer (reads: “NewLayer”)

In THAT case, the Enable Fullscreen is NOT checked.

However, I have (4) different customization layers on my Part-Entry form, all (4) of which DO have the Enable Fullscreen checked. So… :man_shrugging:
