Parts Master - export

I appreciate all of the responses, on- and off-list ... very useful, and I think I have determined how best to move forward.  I forgot that the DMT export was still a pipe dream (unless the new version set for E10 actually does it ... sorry:  could not attend Insights).

Thanks and regards ...

Just curious about the best (recommended) way to export (to Excel?) the parts master (or every part description) via v. 9.05 702A … was considering DMT vs. a BAQ, considering the obvious length and number of values.  Any suggestions appreciated, in advance.

Dmt won't export anything. You're relegated to either a BAQ or direct dump from SQL

Or if you're SQL, right click on database in SQL manager tasks/export data wizard..

I think I would use Excel and select the SQL Db and table as the datasource (ODBC fashion).  It will open the table directly into a spreadsheet.  If you need it portable then select everything and cut/paste values to another sheet.
