Another highly specific one. We received a part that the transaction history shows a PUR-INS transaction and that’s it. It’s not in Inspection Processing. I don’t see it in a material queue. Where else could it be? What can I do to get them actually into stock?
hmmm… that sounds odd… are the parts marked as “Quantity Bearing” in the part table?
I would first create a BAQ on the PartBin table that looks for that part number to see if it is hidden somewhere. you could also look in the PartWhse table with a BAQ.
Anything in Part Tracker under the inspection tab?
Nothing there either.
It doens’t show up in PartBin or PartWhse. Technically, it does show -2 in one bin but that’s because we shipped something today (which is what brought it to my attention) even though it showed 0 on hand (but we physically have 100). I wonder if a BPM glitched somewhere somehow.
Is the receipt date in the future?
No, it’s in the past. Is there a table that stores parts “in inspection”?
Did you look in the partWip table?
I just checked. Nada.
There should be a nonconformance record associated with the PUR-INS transaction. You can reference that number in the nonconf table. nonconf.TranID
