Parent / Child UOM

We have a parent that uses .4 of the child to make one part - child cost is $5K
Child UOM is set up as Ea_M, allows decimals and rounds up
Parent is set up as EA, No decimals and round up

When we enter a quote for 7 parents parts the child cost is only for 7 ( 2.8 * cost of child ) we want it to be ( 3 cost of child )

On the child part - don’t allow decimals.
You still can use decimals (up to 8 digits) on the BOM even though you don’t allow decimals.
