Pack Slip error message

The checkbox is called Auto Invoice and it's on the Order Entry | Summary/Header tabs.  It is bound to OrderHed.ERSOrder.  If that is clear, then check the Billing | Detail tab in Customer Entry.  There's a checkbox there as well.

I have a pack slip if I click the Shipped box on header it pops up a message that says
 "ERS Document Type is not valid.
 
Unable to create invoice"
 
 
Anyone know what this means or where to start looking.

Hi,

Create a Document Type for type AR Invoice from Generation Ledger -> Setup -> Transaction Document Type  and assign that to Auto Invoice /ERS Orders Document Type in Company Maintenance -> Modules -> Sales -> Order.

We don't use Auto Invoice...so that was a user error...I think I figured out how to fix this.

There is a checkbox on your sales order with ERS on it.  We hid ours so they don’t check it by mistake.

Check the Sales Order Header –  We had this happen once but, forget which field was accidently checked.

Umh – That is why I couldn’t remember with field it was – we hid that checkbox also.
