Epicor has already picked Microsoft's SharePoint for its portal strategy:

Most of EpicWeb is SharePoint BTW.

Personally, I use TopStyle Pro for web work, but it's more of an enhanced
Notepad. ;-) To publish to SharePoint, one would use: Word 2003, FrontPage
2003, or Internet Explorer.

OK, mostly OT with a slight Vantage connection. Amongst my other duties I do our web sites (3 at the moment) and I've been given the green light to take them to the next level. I'm not real satisfied with MS FrontPage and have been looking for better web development tools. So far I've seen only Dreamweaver 8 (in Macromedia Studio 8) as an alternative but am a little leary of such slim choice. I need to incorporate video clips and presentations and Flash 8 (also in Studio 8) would seem to fill that niche best.

So for you web developers....what are you using and do you like it? Also, down the road for Vantage portal applications is there a "best" product for integrating Vantage data? Finally, this would also be used for an intranet with possible reporting links from Vantage so any opinions on that angle would be appreciated as well.

Thanks,

We use SAS and DBNetGrid with our Intranet to support access to our
Vantage data. SAS is an awesome tool and has really helped us improve
our ERP system visibility. The main Intranet webpage that I use is not
that impressive and was developed with Frontpage, but the data driven
pages are pretty impressive.
