OT - MS Ofc97 & XP Pro

Ann,

Office 97 works fine on XP Pro in our environment; however, try to make sure
if you can to install Outlook 98, I seem to have better luck with that over
Outlook 97.

And from what I can tell there are no patches or anything you need to make
Office 97 work on XP; although I definitely recommend installing Service
Pack 2 for Office 97.

Subject: [Vantage] OT - MS Ofc97 & XP Pro

First of all, thanks to all who responded to my question on whether
to go with XP Pro or W2k. The response was great - going to both
extremes and why - and beyond. I need to make sure our other
software will run on XPpro. I know it will with W2k because we have
2 notebooks with it. Is anyone running MS Office 97 on XPpro? Has
anyone found any of the older software that won't run with XPpro?
Thank you! Ann Rohyans, AMFAB
