Position: Master Scheduler
Shift: First
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Generate and analyze Materials Requirement Plan (MRP) to maintain accurate, optimum levels of inventory to support manufacturing activities.
Maintain Master Production Schedule and analyze capacity constraints, work center efficiencies and machine reliability to maximize on-time delivery and minimize work in process.
Develop and manage outsourcing strategies as required to support capacity requirements utilizing outside vendors and services.
Participate on cross-functional teams to address and resolve problems and ensure the continuous, on-going improvement of production, methods, processes, on-time delivery and quality.
Maintains compliance with company policies, safety standards, and good housekeeping practices and contributes to a positive work environment.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications:
Associate's degree in related field; or two to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Two to five years experience working in a metal fabrication environment.
Experience which demonstrates working knowledge of steel fabrication equipment and processes.
Experience which demonstrates working knowledge of MRP and Master Production Schedules.
Epicor Experience helpful
