OT- HP Printer Drivers

Whenever I have problems with an HP Laserjet driver, I always go back to
the original LaserHet 4 driver - even though your printer is an 1100 -
give it a try...

Have a Laserjet 1100 printer on an XP box. When using the HP1100(MS)
driver all my programs run fine but printing is rather slow. When I
use the HP1100 driver for XP Access errors out and closes out
continually. What might be the difference between the (MS) driver
and the HP driver? Any ideas what I could do here?
