OT: Data backup solutions for network

We use Dell Appassure software.  Its kind of like Epicor in that it seems expensive and its a program you can love and hate at the same time.  It doesn't do tapes and the interface still needs some work, but as of version 5.4 it is stable and for the price it does do a lot.

If you're looking for backup as well as disaster recovery capabilities we're utilizing a product that is server based that can back up data, deploy a VM of a failed server, do a bare metal restore of a server. They have multiple sizing options and in my opinion is very cost effective. Feel free to contact me for more info.

All,

We are currently having to evaluate our backup solution for our network (beyond just Epicor). Our current solution provider is in or near receivership.. What is everyone out there doing? We are looking at backing up 8-10 servers with data upwards of several hundred gb (including our Epicor DB). We've gotten some quotes for a vault like solution at $1,300/month. This sounds incredibly expensive, but I don't have much experience in this area.

Subject: [Vantage] OT: Data backup solutions for network

All,

We are currently having to evaluate our backup solution for our network (beyond just Epicor). Our current solution provider is in or near receivership.. What is everyone out there doing? We are looking at backing up 8-10 servers with data upwards of several hundred gb (including our Epicor DB). We've gotten some quotes for a vault like solution at $1,300/month. This sounds incredibly expensive, but I don't have much experience in this area.
