I did not do extensive research on the prices until I had made a decision.
Then I started looking for the best price. I very well may have found the
price on a web site, or from a quick conversation with a rep.
The information is also several months old and was intended only to help me
make the initial decision. The overwhelming support for Trend and it's
price with no negative responses, and my previous experience with products
made the decision fairly clear for me.
Sorry for any misinformation. None was intended.

I'm curious on your pricing for eTrust. I've been getting the 5 user packs
for $115 so 15 users would be $345.
Granted - not at cheap as Trend but still 25% less then listed below. (but
remember - CA does not force you to pay annual extortion fees to keep
getting updates. AV updates are available until the product goes end of
life - which is usually several years).
My gripe with eTrust - is not the software, or the pricing - its the way CA
handles all their licensing and registering.
Sometime you have to type in a Key Code, sometimes you need to run a
register program, if you follow the directions - the register program is
where they say it is and you have to go on a "disk safari" to find it. Same
is true for most of their products. Most of the time the instructions
included with the product are wrong - most irritating.
So as long as the don't change the way the software works (or the pricing) -
I'm very happy with it.
