Is there a way to state that an Operation needs to have a ‘wait time’ after it is complete so that MRP will take it into consideration when scheduling?
For example, when Operation “X” is done, there needs to be a ‘wait time’ of 12 hours before those parts should be moved to the next operation.
I am not sure if this is something that would need to be set on the Part Level, or perhaps the Resource or Resource Group level?
@Ernie is totally correct… also note that there is a setting specifying whether the queue time honors the calendar. you can tell it to ignore the calendar so that queue time can happen overnight if the operation ends near the end of the day.
