Well! I guess I have some learning to do. In four years of creating
reports in Vantage, I've never used subreports. Any quick learning
resources out there that anyone is aware of? Maybe someone has a
report/subreport I can dissect?

Subject: [Vantage] Onhand Quantity/Open Order Report
Hi, All!
I have been trying to create a report that will show ALL parts that we have
onhand quantities for, and any open orders in the system , if there are
any.
No matter what I do, I can't seem to get it to show parts for which we have
onhand quantities, but no orders. A left outer joining of PartBin to
OrderDtl gives me a list of all parts we have in stock, whether we have
orders or not, and I can get some order detail where there is some, and the
unknown value for the order-related fields. But I need more detail from
other tables. As soon as I add another join, I lose those parts that have
no orders tied to them.
Any ideas? Any preexisting reports?
Thanks.
