It is true .. that on balance ... you can run a business
of moderate size with Vantage ... within limits.
On the other hand ... Vantage requires lots of home grown
work arounds if yer gonna keep the doors open.
If I had it to do over again ... I would focus real hard on
understanding Product Group and Part Class and how they
affect the triggering of transactions. How you define the
products you build has a direct impact on the General Ledger
by virtue of the Control Account setup used in Vantage.
If I had it to over again ... I would have insisted Steve Weiland
have a GPS transponder surgically implanted ... a very helpful guy.
If I had it to do over again ... I would more quickly have
checked out that Greek restaurant next door to Epicor ... great saganaki.
