On Hand vs Bin Blank Title 87006

Has everyone logged it as a bug with Epicor?

Also short term, what steps are involved in writing a BPM or similar to send an auto email when the two figures start to differ?

Â
We need to run this bug fix periodically too in order to correct the onhand balances. Is there any word of a permanent fix?

Epicor gave us the utility to run as their "fix" (can you believe that?). What a joke.

Anyone notice on parts with a lot control can sometimes have a larger amount in on hand qty in part tracker (17) and then when we print the pick ticket the bin location shows up less so we cant fulfill the order.(7).

Am i missing something.
YUP. We have ran into this problem alot. There is a refresh program that recalucates your onhand qtys.

Our Part Tracker is correct...but if you look at Time Phase or Part Transaction History, the "running total" is off.

I don't have to program number that needs ran handy...call support...if you need me too, i can look it up.

We had to run this twice in the past month.

What version are you guys on?

We are on 9.04.503B. We had this problem once last year and once the first day back this year.

Apparently quite a few people had the same issue, something to do with 2010 - maybe its the millenium bug ten years too late!!

The conversion program is 6430Â I think.

Apparently this isn't a bug - not sure how they can say that.

We have logged it and said it is a bug - might be worth doing the same.

The only reason we noticed it is because the on hand figures went into negative qty.

This conversion program has been available for some time so it does beg the question as to why it hasnt been logged as a bug.

We have this issue all the time. We need to run Conversion 6430
"Recalculate Part OnHand/Allocation Summaries" Weekly. You can do a
report only to see if the counts are off. This can be run anytime.

I believe you may already have it in the admin tools > run conversion program.

You have to kick everyone out to run it.

Oh, we were told to kick everyone out the system before running it.

Have they acknowledged it as a bug for you?
