On Hand Qty required

You can link two separate BAQs by creating a dashboard and then a Crystal Report – but it is sometimes tricky to link them in Crystal depending on how they are related and what you need to show.

Subject: [Vantage] On Hand Qty required

Dear Friends

I need a help in creating a report.

I want to prepare a report with the following headings

Field Name
Table Name
Part
Num
JobMtl
Description
JobMtl
RequiredQty JobMtl
QtyinHand
PartBin
RequiredDate JobMtl

The issue is that I need QtyinHand from the partbin table. I
need the total qtyinhand of the part and not the binwise qty. To get the total
qty in hand we can create a BAQ using the table PartBin and selecting the
fields Partnum and Onhandqty grouping by partnum.

I don’t know how to link this query with the JobMtl table.

Kindly help me to sort out the issue.

Regards

Good Day Sreejith:

I think after 9.05.604, E9 has "aggregate" fields

Display>> Column select >> Calculated Field Icon in middle of screen
>> (far left list) >>Function.Aggregate,Max

I have not used much, but it is very, very, very tricky; so play
with it in a blank BAQ first.

For example once used, you cannot use other fields in that file.

I attached is a screen shot, but it might not come through. Above
instructions are for "Business Activity Query Dsogner: program", which
is just the normal BAQ design program.

Sreejith ,
What version are you on? Are you looking for total QtyOnHand for the plant level or warehouse level?
