This was a little later than some of the things you are talking about, but
how about this one? Remember making "double-sided" disks using a hole punch?
This was especially challenging for my TRS-80 Mod I, because it needed
sector hole for the second side as well as a write-protect hole.
Of course, "sound" on this machine consisted of putting an AM radio beside
the keyboard to pick up the patterns in the radio interference.
