[Off-Topic] Track-It Inventory and Auditing Software - Any exp

I received a demo copy in the mail the other day. Spent a half-hour
cruising thru it. Didn't get a chance to get into too much detail, but the
audit part looked simple. It came with a sample database. I ran the audit
on my machine, merged it with the database, and it was all there with
reports and the whole nine yards. I didn't use it long enough to find out
how flexible and ultimately how useful it is. Big pricetag. I would be
interested in hearing from those using it.

I was curious if anyone here has any experience with Track-It. This is a
software package for tracking PC inventories, helpdesk etc. The biggest
feature I was looking at is the ability to setup auditing through the lan.
It apparently allows you to audit installed software on you entire network.
Before I request the expenditure I was interested if anyone on this list has
or has in the past used this software.

Thanks and happy holidays.

Patrick/Eunice,

We too have problems with not enough "spaces". Many orders in the multiple
millions.

We are also forced to run jobs in lots of only a single digit million which is
unfortunate since our economical run size is much greater.

This is interesting to try to explain to executive management that our ERP
system won't handle (without workarounds or "procedures") our high volume
business! Talk about a tap dance!!!

I hope that with the number of high volume users now using the eManufacturing
product that they will consider enhancing the software to be a better fit for
us.

Patrick,
I totally agree with all the items below, plus the maximum sales
order
line quantity of 9,999,999, of course there is a work around,
we are adding multiple 9 million lines to the orders,
but we still have some orders that have ???????????'s
instead of a quantity and every time we open the order,
an error pops alerting us that Vantage cannot
support this large quantity. We created some of this
at the beginning. I know the solution, close the orders
and create new ones... but these are blanket orders.

OK, we now have an army of 4 companies, who do we contact at Epicor to get a
focus group?
Any other companies interested in this topic?
