[Off Topic] Outlook Express 4.0 to Outlook Express 5.0

Thanks Ted. I found some nice utilities on the link that will help tremendously, as well as some good tid bits of info.

I just backup the data files from the v4 install and move them to a new
directory that is easier to find. Then from the v5 computer, import the v4
email from the directory. This web page should help you understand the
process.

What's the best way to transfer someone's emails who is using Outlook
Express 4.0 on one machine, onto another machine running Outlook Express
5.0? The import/export doesn't seem to make any sense to me.

In the past I've had to install O.E. 5 on the first machine to convert the
emails, then I can copy the .dbf files over to the new machine, etc.
But some slower/older machines don't like O.E. 5 very well. Isn't there a
way to just convert a batch of 4.0 emails over to 5.0?

Thanks a bunch.
