The Merant (ne DataDirect) driver doesn't support LEFT OUTER joins. Just
set up the join condition in the where clause and you should be good to go.

I recently tried using ODBC with Crystal Reports to connect to our
Vantage database. We are on Vantage 5.1. If I select data from one table
it works great, but when I join another table, I get an error. It says
OBDC Error The Keywords LEFT OUTER JOIN were not found in an outer join
escape sequence. Does anyone have any ideas why I am getting this
message? I am trying to simply join the orderhed to the orderdtl table.
