Epicor 9/10 C# Jr./Sr.Programmer/Architect
Job Description
Epicor Consulting firm seeks a full-time Epicor 9/10 - Programmer and/or Senior Architect/Programmer to work with manufacturing and distribution clients to improve Epicor system functionality by developing solutions. This is a wonderful opportunity andn is essentially for two different people to add to an Epicor Partner technical consultancy firm. Some or all of the following skills are needed but client will consider anyone who has C# and SSRS for either role.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Developing within Epicor 9 and 10 ideally, using C#, .NET, with some Progress.ABL
Working as Architect to design and implement solutions 100% “inside the framework”
Developing customized reports using Crystal Reporting, SSRS, and SQL Server
Creating BAQs, BPMs and BAMS
Liaising with internal staff including senior management, project managers and developers
Mentoring and training junior developers in regard to processes and procedures
Traveling on site to clients and participating in meetings to ensure all parties are on the same page and that solutions are created and implemented
Keeping up with top technology trends to provide these as potential client solutions
Overseeing and performing hands-on testing and automation
Creating Dashboards, Trackers and custom solutions
Customizing various modules
Interfacing regularly with clientele to ensure they are understood and solutions are provided
REQUIREMENTS
Ideal candidate will have experience coding C#, .NET and some Progress.ABL, as well as prior Epicor experience. Additionally SSRS, SQL Server and Crystal Reporting experience is a must. Client would love to see someone with SDK experience in addition to other Epicor related products which include Epicor Service, Customer, Vendor and Tax Connect. Additionally would love someone with Credit Card Processing, EPM, EDI, and standard bar-coding tools including Bartender.
