NonConformance Report (V5.2)

Patrick,
that's a good idea for those non-conformances that have a quantity
associated with them. We are using
"non-conformance-other" as well for those issues where a procedure is not
being followed (no quantity).
We have decided to use one of the check-boxes on the vb-form to do double
duty to identify the closed
NC's.

Dick,

Try if PassedQty + FailedQty <> Quantity should equal open nonconformance's.

Also if you are including FailedQty's moved to DMR's as open link to DMRHead
using company and DMRNum.
DMRHead has a OpenDMR field.

Now that 2004 is here we have embarked on using the Quality
Assurance module for Non Conformances and
corrective actions. We have maxed out the VB form for the non conformance
table as the items needed for us are not in the standard module.
Anyway....I am trying to generate a report-builder query where I want to
select only the open non-conformances. Can you believe there is no
open/closed field to select from in the non-conformance table? I've tried
to join to the DMRCorAct table hoping I could find some there....(KEEP
TRYING). Can anyone tell me of a way to select the open Non-Conformances
without using another VB checkbox?

Ya need more info than the canned Vantage Nonconformance report... we are trying to figure a way to get the cost back since it dropped off with the move to 5.2 or 6.0... do you have the calculation for the cost for the nonconforamance?
