Testing non conformance with SN’s and finding that when you report the nonconformance and move to new warehouse and bin the bun doesn’t move- it stays at the current bin location
any thoughts
I haven’t done non-conformance in a while but don’t you have to inspect it to move it? I could be remembering wrong.
We are trying to inspect ,but we get an error saying we Need to move material first
We checked "request move " in nonconformance but clearly I am missing a step
I think checking Request Move moves the material into a material queue and until that is processed it is not available to proceed. Think of a campus factory where you have to dispatch a truck to move the nonconforming materials to inspection.
