No PO Suggestion

Good morning,

I have a tricky scenario if anyone is up for it. This scenario deals with MRP, Generate Suggestions, Time Phase, and New PO Suggestions.

Note I am allowed to only put one media image since I am a new member here.

There are Parts in my system that “sometimes” show a new PO Suggestion and “sometimes” does not. In this case scenario, we expect to see a new Suggestion for Warehouse to fulfill the Demand of 10,502 from Job 040890 for Part: X.

Attached is a screenshot of the MRP process they run.

I am aware that they have two Packing Slips that have “Arrived Receipt” but have not yet received. This was my first observation, but I found other Part’s with similar data that do still show PO Suggestion.

I ran Generate Suggestions with no Cut Off Date = Nothing
I verified that no other MRP processes were run = Nothing
I asked Epicor for support = Nothing

Not sure where else to look and would appreciate any feedback.

@LoganEpicor Welcome. Run PO suggestion for this part only and enter a log name and set the logging level to suggestion. Then on the app server under EpicorData\Companies\CompanyID\username folder you will find the log generated and what Epicor is seeing.

Hi All,
We tried looking at everything and every log but nothing seems to work except following these steps:

  1. Receive the Arrived Pack Slips
  2. Generate Suggestions
  3. Un-receive the Pack Slips
    For some reason Epicor does not like to generate suggestions if there are pending Arrived Pack Slips that are not received for too long.
    Hope this issue is resolved in the latest versions.
