Can someone give insights on this please.
We have on hand quantities which doesn’t show any FIFO cost.
So regardless if we have enough on hand to ship, system shows FIFO errors.

How can a part with quantity on hand, exist with no FiFO record?
We found one also where a part was received in on a PUR-CMI transaction but went into a standard bin type (not supposed to happen). Not sure if that’s the cause but still trying to figure out what to do.
Remember costing is site specific. Check your settings for that part on all the sites to make sure it’s FIFO and not Standard. I once had to write a BPM to make sure all new parts and part updates/additions of sites forced the FIFO.
If you haven’t fixed that part yet, it will take a ticket to fix. The tool they used to hand out apparently can also break things so make sure to give them the part number and company that needs to be fixed.
