Hi all,

I am new to to Epicor software and I am looking for directions on how to put a Crystal report that I designed into the Main Menu of the application for users to run.
Any help would be great. I have the ICE 2.5 manual but it is not helping.
System Management > Security Management > Menu Maintenance

Locate the Menu and Sub-Menu where you want to place the report.

Example
Main Menu > Material Management > Purchase Management > Reports

Click on the two reports you want to place the report at and note the Order Sequence. Example Rpt1 = 30 Rpt2 =40, YourRpt would be 35.

Click on the Reports Menu on the Tree.
File > New > Menu

Enter Unique Menu ID : UDRPT01 (You define)
Name: Your report (You define)
Order Sequence : 35 (You define)
Program Type: Crystal Custom Report Link
Icon: Report
Program Should populate with Epicor.Mfg.UI.CustomReport.dll
Click on Report and point to it.
Save
Logout
Login.

Is that what you wanted?

Also, if you used the BAQ Report Designer, the Program Type is BAQ Report

I'm new to Epicor too. Do you have the Training module? If you do, there's a workshop in the BAQ Report Designer Course that shows how to do this.

Did you use the BAQ report designer to develop the Crystal Report?

We have customers that send in drawings how they want their parts cut. In Vantage, we could print out the drawings and attach them to the job traveler. We just "upgraded" to Epicor. Now if any computers have Windows 7 they are not able to print drawings because the software that Epicor provides to do that function does not work with Windows 7. We can't buy any computers that have XP any more. We have had to upgrade many computers to use Epicor and now we can't print drawings from those computers. Epicor says that a version of the printing software 20.2 is available but they don't have it and the version they do have does not work with Windows 7. Does anyone have any good ideas or can share what they are doing in this case? Any help will be greatly appreciated.
