Some holes were discovered in SNMP (simple network management protocol) on
many different vendors' devices and software that can allow denial of
service attacks, configuration changes, or intrusions.
If you have an Internet connection, even with a firewall you may be
vulnerable. Many devices outside a firewall, like routers, switches & hubs
have SNMP functions enabled. Might want to check with your ISP or
equipment vendors.
