New RMA may not be changed because Line Details exist

Using the classic screen or the kinetic screen for RMA Processing, one of the Company’s in our system are getting the following error when creating a NEW RMA.

Not sure what got jammed up to be causing this for only one of the companies on the system. Again, this is for a NEW RMA Number, so not really sure why it’s even referring to another number. The weird part is, that number it errors against changes every time a new one is attempted to be created.

Any ideas? Not really seeing this error referenced anywhere on the web but I may be blind.

I’ve tried checking RMANumber and CustID’s on their respective tables to see if any have a hidden character or bad character in them. I know we occasionally get a bad part number due to a unicode character.

Changed the range of the auto assigns to the last used # + 1 and it fixed it (Company configuration)

We are getting the same error. I took a look in company config but can’t find the setting you are referencing. Could you give a little more detail on where to look?

Company Configuration → Modules → Sales → Order

Change “Starting RMA” to be 1 higher than the last used [your last used] RMA number.
