The Work in Process Report is a summary report.
If you needed to see what was sitting on a Particular job in detail you can
use job tracker - Job Details - Material - list view. Move you columns
around they have the Req Qty - Issued Qty - Est Cost - Act Cost.
Job Status Dashboard can also be used to see materials.
Both dashboards are using the JobMtl table. You should be able to create a
report for WIP tags from this table.

Mike,
The data you are looking for is in the JobMtl table if you need to develop
your own report.

I thought you could filter it for sub-assemblies...
When you pick the job you want is there a Part tab? If so try picking the
sub-assembly part number there and see what it does.

Thanks Manasa, yes, I've ran that report but it only shows the "Top Level"
part number for a Job, I'm needing to know what all of the individual part
numbers underneath the main part number that make it up and their quantities
at each assembly/operation. Any idea?
Mike.

Subject: [Vantage] Need to know how much product is sitting at a Job
Assembly/Operation (Vantage 8)
Is there anyway in the Vantage system that I can look and see how much
product (part numbers) is currently "sitting" at a particular Job
Assembly/Operation? We are trying to figure out how to inventory our WIP and
I have no idea where to look in Vantage to find this information. Also, I'd
like to develop a report so if anyone has any idea in the database where
this info might exist, I'd love to know that as well. Thanks in advance...
Mike..
