I would like to use the Fulfillment Workbench to allocate materials for jobs. I haven’t found any documentation that explains the process from material allocation, to how to issue the material to relieve the allocation or recommended tools to display the transactions.
Is anyone using Fulfillment Workbench for jobs that could provide some assistance?
Bonnie we release and allocate materials through Fulfillment Workbench and assign to individual forklift drivers through material queue manager. Our jobs are longer running, and the lines are fed material throughout the day.
The material picks are transacted through EMWW (now called Kinetic Warehouse) on an android based barcode scanner.
So, you allocate all the materials for the job from the fulfillment workbench. Do you have a BAQ or something that shows the materials that don’t have enough inventory to allocate? Do you use cross docking? Do you use the Issue Material process in EMWW for picking/issuing material throughout the day? Have you run into any problems with issuing more than is allocated? Do you use Material Queue? (Sorry, I have a lot of questions.)

How did you make out with allocating material for a job using the fulfillment workbench? We successfully use FWB to allocate for sales orders but would like to start allocating materials to jobs. Cannot find any articles on the topic. TIA
