Need help with adding additional table to Job Traveler in Crysta

And check the XML file to see if the PartBin table is shown in the XML...If so, does it have data in the xml for PartBin?

Some things to check -
You ran a report
--- the report style used the new RDD
Then opened the report specified in the style in Crystal
- and you are sure you changed the db connection to the XML file that was created when you ran the report? They are usually stored in a folder on the server, something like this -
\\servername\epicorshare\EpicorData\Reports\your_user_name

I found the Report Data Definitions and went to the report (Job Traveler).
I'm able to look at it, but I can't add a table. The option for it is
greyed out. I'm thinking it is greyed out because it is a system report.
Am I correct?

OK. We did that. So how do we get the Crystal Report to recognize the new

Yes, you won't be able to modify system RDDs.
Duplicate it and modify the new copy.
Then on your report style, specify the new RDD.

We did all this and still cannot see the added table, PartBin.

You changed the report style too?
If so...

Then bear with me... here is a general outline of the steps.
(there are multiple ways to set this, and it's pretty hard to explain
without screen shots)

Run the report from the menu.
Then open the report in Crystal.
In Field Explorer, right click on Database Fields, select set datasource
location.
Expand the report properties
double click on the file path & wipe it & close.
A dialog box will pop up and let you browse out to you report data directory
and select the new XML you generated when yo ran the report.

[Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
Absolutely. You have to copy it. (Action) Then you can add a table.

Then set any old report that uses the old DLL to use the new DLL, run the report so it generates a XML file. The go to Crystal and connect to this new XML.

But don't forget even if you make the relationships between old tables and new tables in the DLL, you have to repeat them in Crystal.

Oh yeah.... A couple more steps will be required.
In Crystal, now that you're linked to the new XML,
Open Database Expert.
Expand "Current Connections"
You should see the table.
Click the arrow to move it to selected tables.
Then make sure you click the links tab and check/add the joins.
