We had Epicor set up our Quick Ship system, but was partially done and zero information about it.
Still unable to print anything and working with an Epicor consultant who knows nothing about the system setup nor wants to, says there is an Agent for printing Cloud to printers.
Q. Where do I find out where the agent is located or a pointer within Quick Ship console.
I see within Quick Ship that when I edit the Workstation, it has no Label Printer or Form Printer defined and the drop-down shows nothing.
Is this the printer from within the Workstation Setup in Kinetic that uses the Edge Agent? Will it populate these fields?
Q. Where can I download the Quick Ship Printing Agent if different from the Edge Agent?
What a mess, left hanging with a Go-Live 12/4
Any help via links or document etc. appreciated as well.
Do you pay for support George? You can open a ticket in Epiccare and select “printing” as the category of the case and I’ve had good luck with that.
Awesome. Yes I got the KB and walking through it now.
Yes we are on support, but support is dodgy on it and a very lengthy process. We paid big $$ to get it set up and had issues with network during setup and it just never gets finished and availability of the 3 people who know it is scarce.
Overall horrible experience with QS thus far and continues today…
I appreciate your help and pointers and yes sad that I have to take time to figure out something we paid so much for.
I installed the Quick Ship Cloud Print Monitor on a server on the network.
Uploaded the Config file and added the Shipping Station ID.
The default printer is CutePDF but not sure if that is supposed to be an actual Printer?
When I look at the Workstation in Quick Ship, I still see no Label Printer or Forms Printer in the Drop-Down.
How do I associate a printer with that station so it prints to the correct printer or any printer for that matte.
I believe you also have to install the printers on the server running QS. Then when you edit the workstation in QS you can select the appropriate printer.
