Recently discovered there are 2 servers with the Epicor Admin Console installed and all the same Application servers are listed at a site and… some “issues” noted below. Thanks in advance for any advice/ideas on how to clean up.
Server “one” does not have the Task Agent Service installed.
- clicking on a Task Agent Configuration button for ANY AppServer listed will generate a prompt with the message “Task Agent Service is not installed on this machine…” with Install/Cancel buttons.
Option a.) Go ahead and install Task Agent Service when prompted by the Admin Console.
Option b.) Just remove the Admin Console from this server, simplify.
Server “two” HAS the Task Agent Service installed,
- multiple errors for only one of the AppServers (Pilot)
- Error 1 - The message could not be dispatched because…"
- Error 2 - Not Connected. Application Server version has not been verified
- Error 3 – IIS Application Pool - status shows “Stopped” (even though I can the task agent listed with a green “dot”, status of “Running” and I can log on with the E10 client.
